Windows 10 Operating system hardening script: Whilst researching for my ACSC 40 mitigations document I came across a little gem for hardening Windows 10 OS’s.
The Australian Signals directorate recommends that “Operating system hardening” is a top 8 control to reduce your risk of cyber breach, this is also a control contained within the Center for Internet Security 18 as well.
If you do not want to go through the various complicated methods for hardening a Windows 10 device then this script delivered by Microsoft Endpoint Manager might be just the thing.
Use at your own risk, I have had no issues with the script as written but like many things, the times changes and requirements etc may change as well. So please be warned.
