Microsoft M365 E3 now includes – Defender for Office 365 Plan 1
If you have M365 E3 licenses in your business, you now have the added benefit of Defender for Office 365 Plan 1 included; securing your Email, Teams, Sharepoint and Onedrive from advanced threats.
From today, MDO (Microsoft Defender for Office 365 P1) should start becoming available for M365 E3 users, what this means is that you can either remove your existing Email Security solution from some of your users to test the Efficacy of MDO in your environment – its pretty good at block threats mostly.
Or, even better, you can now have an additional layer of email security, because multi layered email security is the best bet for email – its complex and email security is super critical.
Running Mimecast or Proofpoint or Avanan potentially, have this solution work with MDO for two layers of authentic email delivery assurance (I made this term up!).
